Frozen Shoulder Treatment in Lahore: Frozen shoulder also known as adhesive capsulitis is a medical condition which affects the shoulder complex involving joints of the shoulder region. Patient is unable to move the shoulder overhead and have severe pain. In the past, it was believed that some frozen shoulders can be treated and usually require surgery. Thanks to physiotherapy, now they can be easily treated with manual therapy, modalities and rehabilitation exercises.

Shoulder is made of 3 bones (arm bone, collar bone and scapula bone) with a lot of muscles covering the shoulder and providing major stability to the joint.

Primary:

Secondary:

May be due to any existing disease e.g. diabetes mellitus etc.

Common Stages to develop Frozen Shoulder

Freezing stage:

Start of the frozen shoulder. There is pain when the region is touched with any object or even with slight movement.

Frozen shoulder:

This is the chronic stage, there is more stiffness and tightness in the shoulder region. Pain is felt in the end of movement range.

Sedentary lifestyle: arm movement is very important for healthy functioning of the shoulder joint. The one who have reduced movement in the shoulder joint can result in the stiffness of shoulder.
