Dehydration cause fatigue and wipes out energy. It reduces the physical performance of an athlete. According to a research, dehydration makes it harder for athletes to complete a weightlifting workout,” says Dan Judelson, PhD, assistant professor of kinesiology at California State University at Fullerton. Dehydration also decreases concentration and attention.
Lack of sleep increases the risk of accidents. Sleeplessness is one of the leading causes of daytime fatigue. It is advised to get into bed early enough for a full night’s sleep. A brief afternoon nap helps boost your energy. Napping brings back wakefulness. Performance and learning are also improved by sound sleep. A 10-minute nap at daytime is sufficient to boost energy. A sleep more than may cause trouble sleeping at night. A cup of coffee after a nap may provide an even bigger energy boost.
